NOW ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS!- FULLTIME position open in our group home. $12.42/hour!

7 days on/7 days off. During the 7 days on, staff resides at the group home while on duty (off time is each weekday from 9a until 2:30p). The group home staff are required to work holidays, if scheduled.

The group home staff (also called a Residential DSP, direct support professional) provides SUPPORTS and TRAINING to adults with intellectual disabilities in a residential (group home) setting.
Supporting the group home residents include assisting with bathing/toileting, home-cooked meals, medication administration, cleaning/housekeeping of the home, shopping for groceries, laundry and other responsibilities of managing a household.
Training at the group home involves working with the residents on their personal goals in their home, each person has different goals.

Applicants must pass a background check and drug screen. Applicants must have a valid driver's license and be insurable under the agency's insurance plan, complete and pass a health physical (DOT), and have good communication and documentation skills.
If hired, the DSP must be able to become MAC certified (Medication Administration Certification).

Previous experience working with adults with disabilities is a plus.
*The ideal candidate for this position will possess a personality that exhibits patience, gentleness and kindness, which are key traits to working successfully with adults with intellectual disabilities.*

This position is full time ($12.42/hour) and includes benefits: Blue Cross Blue Shield health/dental insurance (the agency pays 100% of this cost at $612/month), 14 paid holidays, liberal PTO, eligible for retirement, also eligible for a sign-on bonus.
