I love when my job becomes about more than just beauty and I get to be able to give a client a true transformation.
I met Sophie, a beautiful, 28 year old girl in May of 2024, she had come in to talk with me about Microneedling for her acne scarring. We had an instant connection and I was so excited to treat her in a few weeks.
Randomly, she fell off my schedule and I was bummed but figured I would see her back another time.
I was so pumped when in September of 2024 she rebooked for Microneedling.
When she came in for her appointment, my heart broke as she shared that she had to cancel back in May due to a Thyroid Cancer diagnosis and subsequent surgery.
Funnily enough (this was totally God’s perfect timing), I had recently read a study about how performing Microneedling on healed surgical scars, 6-7 weeks post surgery could help improve the appearance of scars.
I offered to work on her new scar too to see if we could help improve the appearance and each time I saw her, it got better and better.
Fast forward to last week, and her scar is basically non-existent and she remains cancer-free!
This gorgeous girl gets married next month and I am so glad for the small part I got to play in getting her ready for such an important day of her life 🤍
