We adjust y’all in different positions.

Sometimes you’re facedown
Sometimes face up
Sometimes you’re sitting

What we’re trying to achieve is the easiest adjustment for you!

Maybe one day we’ll sell out and put microphones on our patients to let you hear the adjustment louder. For you ASMR peeeps 😂😂

A L4 adjustment here.

Trying to get that elbow up to ensure the proper line of correction.

Always with the tail wags and waiting for the pups approval to move on.

We never want to rush any adjustment, especially an animal chiropractic adjustment.

Doing some muscle scraping (graston, gua sha….).

This helps us detect any fascial restrictions and brings blood flow to the area to help stimulate healing.

It may look like petting, but we are getting deeper into the muscle, applying a specific direction of force along the fibers.

Dogs with low back pain sometimes carry more weight on their front limbs. This is how they present with antalgia. So we always need to check the entire dog out and make sure their whole body is cleared of any issues

Here we’re setting up on his atlas. Releasing that tension at his pole so he can flex, extend and do all the good pup things.

This is a pup that could barely hold his head up at his first adjustment and here he is bopping around.

We just have to place the right input into our bodies, be it adjustments massage or accupuncture, and the output we get is amazing.

Stay adjusted everybody.

Establishing more movement to that SI joint and lumbar spine.

Little dudes been walking with only his front legs and you’ll see in later videos some stretches for his shoulders to help that compensation.

Remember, we’re trying to achieve balance in the body at all times.

Adjusting L6 on Bart.

Establishing muscle movement, nerve flow, and blood flow is the name of the game.

He trust the left hind limb because he has not been using his right hind as much. This movement compensation makes the left stronger and more stable.

Our job is to get the animal to trust all four legs so he can move as he should and get back to a normal life.

Barts second visit with us. Definite improvement, but still working on that right hind.

What we’re trying to establish is improved proprioception (so he knows where his foot is in space without looking at it).

The nerves from the lumbar spine > sacrum tell the muscles in his leg to turn on and flip the paw to stand and walk.

The more we get his joints working and blood flow moving more the better he’ll be.

More videos as the week goes on so check it out.

Thanks Bart!

Targeting the suboccipital triangle of muscles (small muscles at the bottom of the skull).

When these get tight it can bring about

- Neck pain
- headaches
- shoulder issues
- …how much time do you have to read them all?

So spending some time to have them be released along with the adjustment is just what we do to ensure the body heals its best!

Rachel has been in for TMJ issues in the past. Problems with chewing and holding food in.

We adjusted her atlas and TMJ. These areas are very close in proximity and we need to ensure they are moving properly to function their best.

Getting some movement out of Mateo’s lower cervical spine here!

He’s been having some issues in the lower half, but as you can see we released some tension here and will show in future videos the other areas we worked on as well.

We’re always treating the whole animal…or person…with each adjustment!
