✨BIG changes are coming to Children's Hospital at Erlanger!✨
We’re excited to announce major renovations to the Children’s emergency department, main lobby, and entryways to better serve the 80,000+ patients and families we see each year.
Construction will begin this summer, though many projects are already underway, including:
- a new Behavioral Health space within the ED
- a Fast Track area for non-emergent patients to move through the department more quickly
- a project to convert current rooms to be more sensory friendly
"When families walk into Children's," said Erlanger CEO Jim Coleman at today’s press conference, "they are often facing one of the most difficult days of their lives. We want to make the first moment when they enter through the door to say, without a single word: you are safe, you are not alone, and you’re in the right place."
