My Story

This particular story begins in 2007.

Dr Corey Idrogo became interested in chiropractic care after I suffered an injury in the Army. He was having sever back pain daily that would travel into my leg that was preventing him from living his life. He initially sought out care on the traditional route of medicine with pain-pills, physical therapy and consulted with a spine surgeon because he wasn't getting better however he didn’t feel comfortable with back surgery in his early 20s so I ended up at a chiropractor’s doorstep.

After a few weeks of treatment, he started getting his life back. Being a product of great chiropractic care set he on a path to help others. He initially wanted to be a physical therapist, however, as a chiropractor, I am able to offer physical therapy with a broader scope of services than a PT.

Fast forward to 2015...

Dr Corey Idrogo, owner of Centered Health & Wellness moved here after practicing in Chicago, IL by way of Pittsburgh, PA to start a modern, cutting edge chiropractic office that was able to take the best things about chiropractic, manual therapy/massage and physical therapy, put them together, so that a patient can benefit with more faster and with better outcomes for treating spine and joint pain.

For 5 years, Dr Idrogo worked tirelessly to make his dream become a reality. Through the five years, he has seen many successes with countless patients, but was limited by the reality of some patients situation.

Some patients with moderate to severe degeneration had seen improvement with chiro and pt, but couldn't get all the way back. Old injuries are challenging, because a piece of them either physically or mentally seems to linger with these type of injuries and conservative care only.

So Dr Idrogo began to search high and low for an answer to this riddle.

These patients weren't in need of surgery, but needed something else or surgery would be the only inevitable option.

Then he finally found a solution with low risk that can act like a fountain of youth.

The answer was regenerative medicine. With regenerative medicine, we can use embryonic tissue from the birthing process (umbilical, placental, and amniotic tissue) or your own cells (Plasma Rich Protein) to help you heal up old scars that didn't heel correctly.

Dr. Idrogo is passionate about bringing regenerative to his community for many reasons, but what he knows is that if regenerative medicine were available to him all those years ago, things would have been different. His healing journey would have been much different. And for that reason, Dr. Idrogo decided to bring this cutting edge and potentially life-changing therapy to their community. Since integrating Regenerative Medicine into the practice, Dr. Idrogo has received not only help many patients turn back the hand of time but he has also be a patient of regenerative medicine. He receives routine PRP injections in order to repair his old injuries and keep spreading the word how regenerative medicine can help others with damage joints, thinking surgery is their only option.
