📢 HealingBonds Book Club Update

We regret to share that the HealingBonds Book Club meeting scheduled for Saturday, September 6th has been canceled due to lack of participation.

We sincerely appreciate those of you who showed interest and supported this initiative. Your enthusiasm means a lot, and we hope to revisit the idea of a book club in the future when there is more availability and engagement. I do hope that you enjoyed the read of “The Let Them Theory” that was going to be discussed.

Our Chattanooga office is excited to welcome Ali Goodman to our team!! Ali is a Marriage and Family Resident therapist who already has a couple of years of experience in community mental health seeing a range of clients. My passion is supporting individuals and couples wrestling with life stressors, relational difficulties, grief, family dynamics, and trauma. Maybe you are in a life transition, feeling alone and lost. Maybe you don’t feel connected to those around you. Maybe the past haunts you and you’re just not sure how to overcome it. We’ve all experienced one challenge or another (I know. I’m human, too). Here’s the good news - you don’t have to walk this dark season alone. It would be an honor to join you in finding your light again.

I understand that stepping into the therapy room can be intimidating. Just know, you’ve already been courageous – you recognized the need for change. Now, you’re looking for a therapist to join you. As a therapist, I seek to bring my true self into the room. I am someone who accepts you where you’re at, pours out empathy, loves to laugh, challenges growth, and understands you’re the expert of your life. My goal is to provide a safe space and the skills for you to break the cycles and patterns that are keeping you from meaningful relationships with yourself and others.

Attention friends and clients in CLEVELAND! Our Cleveland office is moving to what we hope will be our permanent location! We will begin business at our new location on February 1, 2024. Our new address is 1441 Guthrie Road, Suite 205. Located behind Burger King (off of 25th Street) and near Cleveland Utilities. We will be inside of Heritage Park Building Complex on the second floor. Best parking is around back and then come up the first set of stairs. See you soon. You will love the change!

Stonewalling is when a person in a relationship refuses to engage in a tough conversation. We all do this a little bit, and it's NOT the same as needing some space to process. Stonewalling can go on for days or weeks and when it is consistently present in a relationship, it's a red flag for that relationship. If you are guilty of this in relationships you care about, work on it. It will ultimately end those same relationships.
