📣 Big life update for our family and my birth work

After 2 1/2 meaningful years serving families in Chattanooga, we will be moving in June. This community has trusted me with some of the most sacred moments of your lives, and I will always be incredibly grateful for the families, friendships, and babies who shaped my work here.

Because of the upcoming move, I no longer have availability for births in Chattanooga. Thank you to everyone who reached out and trusted me during this season — it has meant so much.

Beginning September 2026, I’ll be offering doula support and attending births in Columbia, South Carolina. I’m excited to continue supporting families there and to build connections in a new community.

To my Chattanooga families: thank you for letting me witness your strength, your vulnerability, and the moment you became parents. Those memories will always stay with me.

8 years ago, I took a huge leap when I decided to leave nursing to become a doula and it changed my life forever.

What started as a deep passion for supporting birthing families has grown into a business rooted in trust, education, advocacy, and so much love.

Over the last 8 years, I’ve had the honor of walking alongside families during some of their most vulnerable, powerful, and unforgettable moments. I’ve witnessed strength I can’t put into words and learned that birth is never “one size fits all.”

To every family who trusted me with their journey—thank you.
To every baby (146 👶🏼) who made me a doula all over again—thank you.
And to this work that continues to humble and inspire me—thank you.

“My husband and I agreed that hiring Danielle to be our doula was the best decision we made in our pregnancy. I personally had a lot of fear around childbirth due to a family history of difficult labors with medical complications, but she did a wonderful job of educating us and being a calm, confident presence. Her prior experience as a medical professional was reassuring to us and my family.

After her childbirth class I found myself actually looking forward to labor for the first time. When it came to our labor, it looked different than we imagined, but we both felt incredibly supported in our decision making with Danielle there. What a year, I went from supporting 10 births last year to 23 births this year — a growth that humbles me and reminds me just how deeply this work is needed and trusted. So much life, love, strength, and sacred moments I’ll carry with me forever. Honored doesn’t even begin to cover it.

My heart lives in pregnancy and birth work, but there's something incredibly special about stepping into a home during those tender postpartum days. The quiet moments, the honest conversations, the change to nurture a new family as they settle in- what a gift. So greatful for the opportunity to offer postpartum support during my slower season to this sweet family.

"I am so grateful for my experience with Danielle. What started back in July as simply creating a birth plan together turned into so much more once I found out she accepted my insurance — something I never expected, but without it, I wouldn’t have been able to move forward with doula support at all. I decided to do a partial doula package with postpartum care and photography, and it ended up being one of the best decisions I made for my birth and early postpartum journey.

Danielle was truly a blessing throughout the entire process. During labor, her calming presence and knowledgeable guidance made me feel supported, understood, and empowered. After birth, she continued to be such a comfort as she helped me navigate postpartum anxiety with so much patience and compassion. On top of all of that, she captured the most beautiful photos of my new family of three — images I will cherish forever.
