After being diagnosed with sepsis in 2017 resulting in the amputation of her lower limbs, Petra Kormos set a goal for herself to run in Stockholm Stadium.

Following intense training and determination, her dreams became a reality as she recently ran her first 100m wearing her Obsidian running blades.

Next on her list is competing in the 400m Paralympic track and field event during the Swedish Athletics Championships in July 2026.

Our team recently joined for a mobility clinic in New Mexico. At the event, participants had the opportunity to try out our Obsidian running blades and AllPro feet, plus activity specific devices on different gym equipment. Attendees also enjoyed activities like swimming, yoga, and pickleball. 🦾🦿

Adapt 💙 Overcome 💙 Thrive

Our team is heading to Enhancing Skills for Life’s triennial event, Skills for Life 7, an event dedicated to supporting individuals living without both hands or all four limbs. This year's event includes a focus on activities of daily living, and will provide attendees an opportunity to share their experiences and learn from one another. Participants will also have an opportunity to take part in various sports like swimming, golf and adaptive gaming, to name a few. We hope to see you there!
