๐Ÿšจ๐Ÿš”Blood Assurance is honored to team up with the City of Springfield, TN - Government Police Department and Fire Department as they join with area first responders for a special โ€œBattle of the Badgesโ€ blood drive. Itโ€™s their way of bringing the community together to do something meaningful in honor of those lost on Sept. 11, 2001.

The blood drive will be held on Thursday, Sept. 11 at The Center (401 N. Main St.) from 10 AM to 6 PM.

As we celebrate Labor Day, we honor the spirit of service and hard work that makes our community strong. This weekend, you can take that spirit one step further by donating blood. ๐Ÿฉธ

Your gift could save the life of a trauma patient, accident victim, or someone fighting cancer. Emergencies donโ€™t take holidays, and patients are counting on heroes like you.

We are open normal business hours in order to collect the lifesaving blood our area hospitals need.

The tournament is located at Lakewood Golf and Country Club in Tullahoma, TN and is a charity golf event that raises money for Blood Assurance's Heroes Grant (in honor of Crystal Green). The money donated is given as grants to schools that host blood drives with Blood Assurance. These funds can be used for students grants, school programs, and more.

Special thanks to the Masons for hosting a blood drive on July 29 at the Mack Gaston Community Center in Dalton, Georgia.

Masonic Brothers from Dalton Lodge #105 F&AM along with Dalton Lodge #238 PHA united to support a joint blood drive. This inaugural collaborative event will impact 36 patients in need of lifesaving blood donations.

This three-hour event is thanks to the efforts of Chris Lynch of Dalton Lodge #105 and Joe Bonds of Dalton Lodge #238 PHA. These men received guidance and encouragement from Craig R***r of Tunnel Hill Lodge #202, the District Blood Drive Chairman from the Grand Lodge of Georgiaโ€™s Blood Drive Program.

About Blood Assurance

Blood Assurance is a nonprofit, full-service regional blood center serving over 70 healthcare facilities in Tennessee, Georgia, Alabama, Virginia and North Carolina. More than 540 volunteer blood donors are needed every day in order to adequately supply these hospitals. Founded in 1972 as a joint effort of the Chattanooga-Hamilton County Medical Society, the Chattanooga Area Hospital Council and the Chattanooga Jaycees (Junior Chamber of Commerce), the mission of Blood Assurance is to provide a safe and adequate supply of blood and blood components in a cost effective manner to every area patient in need.

Currently, there are 11 fixed locations and 13 bloodmobiles to collect lifesaving blood products used by area patients. Blood Assurance is a member of the American Association of Blood Banks, the Tennessee Association of Blood Banks, the Tennessee Hospital Association, Blood Centers of America, the Georgia Department of Community Health, the Tennessee Department of Health, and the Chattanooga Area Hospital Council.
