✨ TRANSFORMATION TUESDAY ✨

Jill’s story is proof that transformation isn’t a straight line — and that lasting change comes from learning how to show up through every season of life.

Wrapping up high school at 225 lbs, Jill felt deeply uncomfortable in her body and her health. She made the decision to change, losing nearly 90 lbs and discovering a passion for wellness that eventually led her to become a personal trainer.

Then life happened.

Pregnancies and major life transitions brought her back to that same uncomfortable place during two different seasons. And each time, Jill did the work again — rebuilding her health and learning what each new chapter required.

That cycle is familiar for so many women.

What changed wasn’t willpower or effort — it was the approach.

For the last decade, as part of the Brigade Athletic Club community and through Empower and Emily’s guidance, Jill shifted away from extremes and toward a sustainable lifestyle:
✨ Daily walks
✨ Intentional strength training
✨ Consistency she could maintain through busy seasons, aging, and hormonal shifts

Since joining Brigade in 2017, Jill hasn’t gone back — not because life got easier, but because her habits finally fit her life.

Five years deep as a gym and FULLY in our era.
Heavy on the competition circuit 🏋️‍♀️🏆
Even heavier on the community ❤️
And somehow… responsible for way too many love connections to count 👀💍

Hype classes, loud music, chalk everywhere, weekend throwdowns, and a killer crew that showed up HARD—for workouts and for each other. Thankful that though we’re 10 years older we still get to do this 🥹

Tomorrow morning, we’re hitting pause on the 5:30am and 6:30am classes.
We’ll open for the 9:30am class and then roll into our normal schedule from there.

If conditions are sketchy in the morning, plans may change.

We’re also keeping a close eye on Tuesday’s forecast, which is flirting with single-digit temps 🥶. Cold is fine. Dangerous is not.
