Jill’s story is proof that transformation isn’t a straight line — and that lasting change comes from learning how to show up through every season of life.
Wrapping up high school at 225 lbs, Jill felt deeply uncomfortable in her body and her health. She made the decision to change, losing nearly 90 lbs and discovering a passion for wellness that eventually led her to become a personal trainer.
Then life happened.
Pregnancies and major life transitions brought her back to that same uncomfortable place during two different seasons. And each time, Jill did the work again — rebuilding her health and learning what each new chapter required.
That cycle is familiar for so many women.
What changed wasn’t willpower or effort — it was the approach.
For the last decade, as part of the Brigade Athletic Club community and through Empower and Emily’s guidance, Jill shifted away from extremes and toward a sustainable lifestyle:
✨ Daily walks
✨ Intentional strength training
✨ Consistency she could maintain through busy seasons, aging, and hormonal shifts
Since joining Brigade in 2017, Jill hasn’t gone back — not because life got easier, but because her habits finally fit her life.
