    •    Jan 10 | Week 1: Warm-up & Standing Postures + Breath Awareness
    •    Jan 17 | Week 2: Sun Salutations A & B + Victorious Breath
    •    Jan 24 | Week 3: Standing Balancing Postures + Alternate Nostril Breath
    •    Jan 31 | Week 4: Seated Forward Bends + Twists & Cool-down Postures + Three Part Yogic Breath
🌱 How to prepare:
    •    Wear comfortable clothing you can move in
    •    Bring a mat, if you have one; mat rentals are included in this series
    •    If note-taking is helpful for your learning process, bring a notebook!
    •    Eat 2-3 hours before class so that you don’t have a full stomach when you arrive
    •    Come with questions, a curious mind, and an open heart

Join us for continued education in traditional Yoga and Ayurveda. Yoga classes, Lectures and Workshops will cover topics of Kapha Prakruti and Dosha, Earth Element and Tamas. We will converse on topics of Stability in mind and body, and the need and methods for consistency and perseverance in practice of Yoga Asana, Pranayama and a consciously applied Ayurvedic lifestyle.

You will learn Kapha Pulse, Kapha subdosha, Positive and Negative Tamas, the Earth Elements presence internally and externally, related therapeutic yoga asana, pranayama practices and more.

Kundalini Yoga is a lineage of yoga that uses kriyas (a specific sequence of physical actions that work toward a particular outcome) to initiate a sequence of physical and mental changes that affect the body, mind, and spirit. Each kriya has a different set of postures and sequences that include, breath, sound, movement, and meditation that impact and work on all levels of your being at once. 🕉️

This Friday is Kat and Lisa’s Assisting While Teaching Playshop! 🌿

This 4-hour deep dive into how to effectively assist students while teaching a group class! 
Take your yoga instruction to a higher level through learning yoga assists and hands-on adjustments. In this workshop you will learn how to leverage verbal cues with safe hands-on assists to help guide your students with stability and ease in their yoga practice, as well as leave a significant and lasting impression through your instruction.
With confidence learn how to assist with various students’ experience levels as well as different body types. Understand how to best approach common yoga misalignments and safely reinforce correct postures. Learn not only how to assist, but how to teach while assisting. Share with your peers common roadblocks to assisting as well as learn how to solicit feedback while you practice assisting on each other. By the end of this workshop, you will have enough practice to feel empowered knowing that you’ll create even greater “raving fans” by giving your students an even better practice experience, as well as sustain longevity in your class attendance.
