💛 Join the 1st Priority Cares Foundation Advisory Board! 💛

Do you have a heart for service and a passion for making a difference in the lives of seniors, caregivers, and families in need?
We’re seeking dedicated, community-minded individuals to join our Advisory Board and help guide the growth and impact of our mission.

We’re especially looking for individuals with experience in:
• Fundraising & donor development
• Nonprofit finance or budgeting
• Marketing, communications, or public relations
• Event planning & community engagement
• Healthcare, nursing, or senior services
• Legal, governance, or grant writing

As a member of our Advisory Board, you’ll play a key role in providing insight, building connections, and helping us expand programs such as:
🌼 Sunny Dayz Floral Outreach – delivering joy to local seniors through rescued flowers
💖 Caregiver Support Initiatives – assisting families who fall through coverage gaps
🏡 Financial Assistance for Homecare Services – supporting seniors in need of quality care
🎓 Nursing & Healthcare Scholarships – empowering the next generation of compassionate caregivers

🕒 Availability Requirement:
Advisory Board members must be available to attend both in-person meetings in Chattanooga and virtual Zoom meetings throughout the year.

🎀🌸 Breast Cancer Awareness Flower Giveaway Recap 🌸🎀
This event was beautiful in every way. 1st Priority Homecare and 1ST Priority Cares Foundation hosted our Breast Cancer Awareness Flower Giveaway, and we were truly touched by the love, stories, and strength shared. 💕💐

We met:
• Women currently undergoing treatment,
• Survivors who are living testimonies of faith, fight, and resilience,
• Family members showing courage and compassion,
• And children who are learning early the importance of awareness, empathy, and health education.

💗 Why We Show Up
Breast cancer affects all of us.
• 1 in 8 women will be diagnosed with invasive breast cancer in her lifetime.
• When it is detected early, the 5-year survival rate can be as high as 99%.
• Men can be affected too, even though it is less common.
• There are over 4 million breast cancer survivors in the U.S. today, showing the power of support and early detection.

We honor every person touched by this journey — past, present, and future. 🕊️💞

🌸 Our Purpose
At 1ST Priority Home Care, we are locally owned and nurse-led, and we believe in showing up for our community with compassion, education, and genuine care.
The 1st Priority Cares Foundation exists to support families, uplift caregivers, and bring joy and connection through programs like our Sunny Dayz Floral Outreach.

We had such an amazing turnout and were deeply touched by all the stories shared. We met several beautiful souls who are currently undergoing breast cancer treatment, many strong survivors who have overcome the disease, and others whose lives have been affected in different ways. 💞

We want to remind everyone — please continue to do your monthly breast exams. Early detection saves lives, and breast cancer affects both women and men.

This was our first annual Breast Cancer Awareness event hosted by 1ST Priority Home Care and 1ST Priority Cares Foundation, and it was a day filled with love, tears, laughter, and connection. We are so thankful to be able to give back to our community and to share this experience through our Sunny Dayz Floral Outreach Program, which rescues and repurposes flowers to bring joy to those who need it most. 🌼

Our Sunny Dayz volunteers worked hard to prepare bouquets for survivors, families, and supporters who stopped by — reminding everyone that hope blooms even in difficult seasons.
