Toes Yoga of Chattanooga is an intimate yoga studio nestled in the Brainerd Arts District. We offer yoga classes for all abilities, from beginner to advanced. Our teachers are the most qualified in town and are capable of relating the class to individual needs. Some of our classes include meditation, flow, fundamentals, Vinyasa, prenatal, Yin, and more.

CLASS FEATURE - EmBodied Yoga | Mondays 7:15pm

There are many forms of yoga that ask the body to perform.
This class asks something different.

Embodied Yoga (Somatic Yoga) is a slow, mindful practice designed to help you reconnect with your body’s natural intelligence. Instead of pushing or striving, we focus on feeling, listening, and moving in ways that support the nervous system.

Through gentle movement, guided awareness, breath, and spacious rest, this class helps you:
• Release chronic tension
• Regulate the nervous system
• Reconnect with internal cues and body wisdom
• Build strength and mobility without strain
• Cultivate a deeper sense of self-trust

Each week the practice unfolds slowly, with plenty of options and guidance. You do not need to be flexible or experienced in yoga — this class is accessible to beginners and long-time practitioners alike.

If you’ve been feeling stressed, disconnected, overwhelmed, or simply curious about a softer way to practice, this space is for you.

As we move into the second week of March, daylight savings has begun to stretch our evenings, inviting a slow, gentle reawakening. The world around us is beginning to stir...the earth softening, buds forming, small signs of new life appearing. This seasonal shift is a reminder that renewal often happens quietly at first, then all at once.

In the studio this week, we’re leaning into practices that help us ground and reconnect, creating space for our own inner awakening to unfold with intention and care.

In the words of Thich Nhat Hanh, “Smile, breathe, and go slowly.”
