Food changes as we age, and sometimes those changes are bigger than families expect. 🍽️💛

Appetite can shift. Cooking may become harder. Medications, special diets, swallowing difficulties, or even eating alone too often can all begin affecting a senior’s health and quality of life.

At Morning Pointe Senior Living, dining is designed with seniors in mind, from daily meal choices and specialty diet support to social dining rooms where residents can enjoy conversation, comfort, and familiar favorites together.

What an incredible evening at the Morning Pointe Senior Living Top Chef Challenge Finals! 🍽️🔥

Congratulations to our first-ever Morning Pointe Senior Living Top Chef Champion, Morning Pointe at Happy Valley's Brittany Brown, for an outstanding performance with her winning dish, Pan-Seared Salmon Florentine, earning both the inaugural title and the $500 grand prize.

The Morning Pointe Senior Living Top Chef Challenge Finals brings together regional winners from across the company for an exciting evening of creativity, flavor, and friendly competition.

Food Service Directors representing their regions:
🍽️ Kevin Horner — Morning Pointe of Lexington Assisted Living (Bluegrass KY Region)
🍽️ Brandon Turner — The Lantern at Morning Pointe Hardin Valley (Smoky East TN Region)

Game day at The Lantern was full of fun and friendly competition! 🏒💚 Our residents brought their A-game as we created a DIY table hockey rink, and the competition quickly became fierce in the best way possible.

There is nothing quite like the joy that comes from a little friendly rivalry, lots of laughter, and seeing everyone fully engaged and having fun together. Residents loved cheering each other on, showing off their skills, and sharing plenty of big smiles throughout the games. ✨😊

Moments like these are such a wonderful reminder of the joy, connection, and excitement that activities can bring to our community each day!
