Siskin Hospital is committed to helping patients regain their highest quality of life after a traumatic injury or illness through inpatient and outpatient physical rehabilitation. The people of Siskin Hospital for Physical Rehabilitation understand how a traumatic accident or illness can temporarily put someone on the sidelines.They also understand just as fully that patients don't have to stay there. Throughout the years, the staff has been privileged to look into the eyes of countless patients and watch helplessness turn into triumph, defeat into success, and the fear of "I can't" turn into the spirit of "I CAN!"

A lifelong lover of adventure, Will Posey was preparing for a motorcycle race when a crash left him with a spinal cord injury.

At Siskin Hospital, he and his inpatient therapy team worked tirelessly to restore his upper body function and even help him swallow safely again. By discharge, he was pain-free and able to transfer independently, but he feared his days of riding were over.

Through Siskin Outpatient Therapy, Will regained strength in his lower body and, with the support of his dad and friends, found a way back on a bike. Just eleven months later, he made history as the first Georgian to win an X Games medal, riding a snow bike with a specially built cage.

Though he no longer races, Will shares his love of adventure with his daughter, Iris, who inherited her dad’s fearless spirit.

⛳ What an incredible day on the course! The 35th Annual Siskin Hospital Golf Classic was one for the books with the highest gross revenue in the history of the event! 🎉

Every swing, putt, and cheer helped make a difference for those who need it most. All proceeds benefit the Siskin Hospital Patient Scholarship Fund, which provides life-changing physical rehabilitation care for individuals without insurance coverage.

✨ For Elizabeth Harper, RN, family is everything—not only her own, but also the work family she’s built during her 10 years on night shift at Siskin Hospital.

In 2024, Elizabeth’s younger brother Jacob was hit head-on by a drunk driver, leaving him with life-threatening injuries and a long road to recovery. With no health insurance and unable to walk for months, his future seemed uncertain.

But Elizabeth knew exactly where to turn—Siskin Hospital. Thanks to our Patient Scholarship Fund, Jacob was able to receive life-changing rehabilitation, taking his first steps again and regaining his independence.

Today, Jacob is back in school, working, exercising, and embracing life with gratitude. And for Elizabeth, the experience deepened her commitment to caring for every patient as if they were her own family. 💙
