Meet Ben, our newest Umbrella Artist!

It’s never too late to start your artistic journey, learn something new, and surprise yourself…and Ben is an awesome reminder of this!

His appreciation of traditional Irish dance began long ago watching Michael Flatley, the Lord of The Dance himself, perform live!

For 30 years Ben has wanted to learn tap dance. A recent moment of inspiration that finally tipped the scale for him was his granddaughter. With big smiles, support and admiration, he and his family watched their young Umbrella Artist share her beginner tap dance skills with confidence and pride on the last day of spring class.

With the full encouragement of his family and Umbrella Arts staff (particularly Miss Angela!) he signed up, his amazing wife surprised him with a shiny new pair of shoes, and he is currently tapping his way to greatness one step at a time!
