MediLodge Senior Olympics 2025 in Alpena! 🏆
Residents and staff had an amazing time competing alongside all the northern MediLodge facilities! We proudly cheered as the “MediLodge of Cheboygan River Rats” 🐀 made their debut. From decorating our Olympic team table to taking on games like Nerf Target Shooting, Bowling, Putt-Putt Golf, and the Rudolph Run, the day was full of laughs, teamwork, and great memories.

We’re already buzzing with ideas for next year and can’t wait to bring even more fun to the games. Thank you to everyone who made this day so special — our River Rats spirit was shining bright all day long! 💙✨

🌺 Aloha from Medilodge of Cheboygan! 🌺
Last week, we took a tropical trip without leaving home for Hawaiian Day—and what a blast it was!
A huge mahalo to our amazing Director of Nursing, Laura Daniel, for bringing this sunny idea to life and making the day extra special for residents and staff alike. 💛🌴
From sipping fruit punch and munching on coconut macaroons to enjoying Hawaiian-themed meals all day long (yes—breakfast, lunch, and dinner!), we soaked in the island vibes. 🌺🍍🍪
We jammed to the Beach Boys, Jimmy Buffett, and Elvis, and caught a double feature of Blue Hawaii and Donovan’s Reef. 🎶🎥 Plus, our coconut bowling and beach ball toss brought the fun in full swing!
It was truly a day of smiles, sunshine, and spirit. Thanks again, Laura, for helping us all catch a wave of joy! 🌊🌞

🎉 Fun at the 2025 Cheboygan County Fair! 🎉

Residents and staff had a wonderful time yesterday at the 2025 Cheboygan County Fair. From visiting animals, enjoying elephant ears, cotton candy and soaking up all the classic fair fun!

A HUGE thank you to the Cheboygan County Fair Board, especially Board President, Ron Fenlon, Keith Ginop, and Beth Buhr, for helping make it all happen and accommodating our residents and staff for no charge!

And a special shoutout to Straits Regional Ride — your amazing staff and drivers made this outing seamless and stress‑free with your kindness and flexibility.
