“Pay attention to the tension” is a powerful tool for healing work.

In a healing aspect, the tension is the body, heart, or energy field whispering:
• “Something is unresolved here.”
• “This part of me needs attention, not avoidance.”
• “There’s healing waiting beneath this discomfort.”

How to Use It in Healing
1. Notice the tension
• Is it in the body (tight chest, stomach knot, jaw clenching)?
• Is it emotional (irritability, heaviness, sadness)?
• Is it energetic (feeling blocked, drained, or stuck)?
2. Get curious, not critical
• Ask: “What is this tension trying to tell me?”
• Let it be a messenger instead of an enemy.
3. Lean in gently
• Breathe into the tightness.
• Place your hand on the area of the body holding it.
• Visualize light or warmth softening the tension.
4. Listen for the root
• Sometimes it points to an old memory, unmet need, or unexpressed emotion.
• Write it down, or speak it out loud to give it release.
5. Respond with care
• If the tension is fear, offer reassurance.
• If it’s grief, allow tears.
• If it’s anger, move the body (shaking, stomping, or sound) to clear it.

✨ In healing, tension isn’t something to escape — it’s the doorway to the part of you that still needs love.
