Willow Grove Counseling, LCSW, PLLC

Willow Grove Counseling, LCSW, PLLC Working with individuals, families, and organizations to make change be realistic and achievable. For that, I celebrate you. Going to therapy is a choice.

I believe that we all are doing the best we can in life, with the choices we see available to us, hoping that today’s actions will provide tomorrow’s happiness. But when we are making today’s decisions based on yesterday’s experiences, success can remain difficult. My goal is to work with you on embracing the reality that change is difficult AND worth it. As a therapist, I have built a career on the notion that change is scary, but necessary. If you are here, then you have already started the hardest part: getting started. I look forward to meeting you and identifying, then working on your best hopes. It is an act of trust, a willingness to share your secrets with another person, in hopes of change. I honor your time and energy, and am eager to help you work toward your best future. We will work as a team to develop a strategy for your success. I believe we best reach our goals by making them feel both important and possible. As John Lennon said, “life is what happens while you’re busy making other plans.” My goal is to be with you, here today. We will work on the yesterdays, and sometimes that will be hard or scary. But we will do it together, and you set the pace. Remember, in my office, you are the boss. I will help you walk or run toward your best hopes.

It's 7/16 Day. A day a year where our area code is encouraged to openly boast our WNY pride on full blast!
So whatever your plans for today, no matter where you are in the world right now, lets take a moment to either actually or emotionally enjoy an order of wings with bleu cheese, washed down with a delicious iced Loganberry, all while sitting on the shores of Lake Erie's beautiful waterfront.

From the Bills to Bisons, snowstorms to shimmery Lake Erie sunsets, Art Deco architecture to historic parks weaving through the city, today we celebrate everything that makes the #716 legendary. 💙❤️💛

Shout out the Queen City!

A man of courage, compassion, and conviction, Dr. King dreamed of a world where equality, love, and justice prevailed. His powerful words and selfless actions continue to inspire us to build a better, more inclusive future for all.
"Every man must decide whether he will walk in the light of creative altruism or in the darkness of destructive selfishness."

As Thanksgiving draws near, I had the pleasure of chatting with Valerie Kelly from ‘A Slice of Empathy’ podcast. We discussed family dynamics, setting healthy boundaries, and creating a supportive environment for everyone in the family.

We also touched on the presidential election and how it’s divided our nation. We talked about how to advocate for our youngest family members as we approach the holidays when Red and Blue will be sitting at the same table.
