Do you feel misunderstood, discouraged and rejected when it comes to seeking healing, belonging or even a place to serve at Church - all because of the fear fueled misjudgment from people you were hoping to trust?
That pain can be paralyzing. But remember Jesus heals the paralyzed.
As a Christian counselor who always encourages people to seek out a solid non-denomination Bible based church I just want to say to you - I am truly so sorry that happens. I struggle with it too.
Its a heart breaking shame to see fruit get spoiled rather than harvested for the kingdom of Heaven like that.
It shouldn’t happen. But people are flawed. Pastors too when it comes to Judi g others whom they do not know. But that’s why WE ALL need Jesus.
Your past, your profession, your process, and your purpose is your personal journey with Jesus.
No one can rightly judge Gods opinion of you or His plan for you. Because no one can know it.
Let me encourage you. To keep going, if God is calling you to seek and serve Him, even when others at church are of the opinion that you are not worthy or that God can’t use you to uplift the kingdom…
Just remember - God used a DONKEY - to literally speak - as a divine messenger - to warm Balaam against going against God’s will! Showing how God can reveal His own will in extraordinary ways that people can’t even imagine. Numbers 22:22-35
Remember - that Rahab -worked as a pr******te! She wasn’t even an Israelite Yet she loved God and God did not waste that. First - He used her to help the Isrealites conquer Jericho and turned her into one of the very hero’s of the Bible! Her job did not disqualify her! She was not a pr******te to God. In fact, God honored her and blessed her to become no one less than the great great grandmother of King David!
So take peace and liberty in knowing that the people judging you at church are not judging you the way God does. ❤️🩹❤️
Scripture says in two places- shake the dust off your feet and carry on. Referring to exactly these kinds of scenarios where people just don’t don’t get it! Matthew 10:14 and Mark 6:10-11.
God has a plan for you no matter what someone’s opinion is. You may not be able to trust all church people, but you can Trust God always. He knows who you really are to Him. So keep seeking, healing and serving. Forgive and pray for those who blindly hinder Gods will for your life. God can take it from there.
And if you struggle to fit in our find a mentor and Pastor at church for acceptance and guidance - consider Christian counseling. Because it’s personal and accessible without judgement.
May this bless those who need it.
And if you have been thinking about Christian concealing, I am still taking new clients at this time. Just call.
