Big things are taking shape at 1420 Broadway St. in Buffalo, NY!

Members of the Endeavor Health Services leadership team recently visited the construction site to see the progress firsthand and review plans for what will become our new behavioral health hub in Buffalo.

As construction continues, the building is beginning to take shape. Once complete, the facility will expand access to care and create a welcoming environment where individuals and families can connect with the services and support they need.

We appreciate the work of Buffalo Construction Consultants, Inc., and Kideney Architects, whose teams are helping move this important project forward. We look forward to sharing more updates as construction progresses.

Our President and CEO, Elizabeth Mauro, recently appeared on WIVB News 4’s Daytime Buffalo to discuss the important role nonprofit organizations play in strengthening communities across Western New York.

During the segment, Ms. Mauro joined Nora Suric, President of the Health Foundation for Western and Central New York, to talk about the impact of the nonprofit sector and how organizations like Endeavor help expand access to behavioral health care and support the well-being of the people we serve.

March into connection, creativity, and community at EAST Haven!

This month’s schedule includes: Creative Writing, Guided Meditation, Narcan Knowledge, Harm Reduction Skills, March Madness Hoops, Poetry Slam, Chess Club, Yoga, Sensory Group, and more. There is something happening every weekday to keep minds engaged and connections strong.

Throughout the field, women have helped shape care practices, expand access to services, and support individuals and families in meaningful ways. Their leadership and dedication continue to influence how care is delivered and improved.

There’s real momentum around strengthening behavioral health care in New York, and Endeavor Health Services is proud to be part of the conversations moving that work forward.

This week, President and CEO Elizabeth Mauro and Director of Project and Business Development Kristin Kight were in Albany engaging with state leaders and partners on advancing Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinics, expanding access to care, supporting workforce sustainability, and ensuring communities have the infrastructure needed to meet growing behavioral health needs.

Thank you to Assemblymember Sam Berger for hosting the Assembly Mental Health Committee presentation and championing this conversation, to Pesach Tikvah - Door of Hope Social Service Agency for sponsoring and partnering in this important work, and to O’Donnell & Associates, LLC for their leadership and coordination in bringing partners together.

These conversations matter because they translate into real access, real support, and real outcomes for the people we serve.

This Black History Month, we’re taking a moment to recognize the leadership, resilience, and impact of Black individuals and communities.

It’s also a time to reflect on the importance of access to mental health and substance use services in every neighborhood we serve. Strengthening our community means making sure care is compassionate, responsive, and accessible.

This week, members of the Endeavor Health Services team participated in the 2026 OPEN MINDS Whole Person Care Summit, connecting with leaders from across the country to explore innovative approaches to integrated care.

Today, Amanda Zwirecki and Chloe Hurley presented a core session focused on models and workflows that support whole-person care integration. Also attending the summit this week was our CEO, Elizabeth Mauro, joining staff in learning, collaborating, and bringing back new ideas that strengthen the services we provide to the people we serve.

We are proud of our team members for representing Endeavor and advancing innovative approaches to care in our communities.

Asking yourself what you need in the moment, enforcing your boundaries, and choosing to rest, are all valid ways of self-care.

Making self-care a habit and a priority enforces good habits and invites mental wellness.

During times of grief, depression, and/or upheaval, it's normal to feel detached from yourself, and far from the things you once valued and loved.

It's important to remember that you have value beyond what you can accomplish, and it's okay to rest. Whether you've completed a full task, half a task, or nothing at all, your value exists in who you are, not what you can do.

Get back to yourself with one small, healthy habit at a time. Center your focus on self-love, self-care, and self-nourishment by enjoying healthy meals, reincorporating exercise into your routine, and choosing an activity every week that nourishes your soul.
