In 1997 Michael McCartney and Joseph DiDomenico Jr started Respiratory Services of Western New York, Inc.

in order to better serve the Western New York community's oxygen and durable medical equipment needs. For the past 24 years, Respiratory Services of Western New York has been providing Durable Medical and Respiratory Equipment to thousands of patients each year throughout the Buffalo and Rochester New York areas. Our growth is attributed to not only the relationships the company has in the medical community, but by the satisfaction of our patients. As a Medicare approved and HQAA accredited organization, we continue to have tremendous success in decreasing patient hospitalizations and acute care events. Our results focused programs and services ensure that each patient is educated on their prescribed therapy/equipment/supplies, and followed at regular intervals. Our tracking mechanisms ensure greater patient compliance and more positive patient outcomes as well as looking for potential opportunities for weaning patients from therapy that is no longer beneficial. Our Cpap/Bipap compliance program is currently maintaining compliance levels of 82%, 18% higher than the national average, ensuring that our patients are benefiting from their prescribed therapies. Our team of dedicated healthcare professionals consists of Nurses, Respiratory Therapists, Dieticians, and Patient Care Technicians that focus on Adult and Pediatric services in the following areas:
