LUY wouldn’t be LUY without Amanda and Scott.
These two show up for me and this studio in ways that are hard to put into words — but here’s one example: covering classes, stepping in last minute, even at 9pm the night before when my son’s giving me puppy dog eyes, “you’re missing my first game… my whole tournament?”
They make it possible for me to be present with my family, and that means everything. I’m grateful to call them not just teachers, but friends.
This is what community looks like.
LUY is my passion and my livelihood, but my family will always come first. I’m grateful for a community of teachers and students who understand and support that.
Thank you, Amanda and Scott, for everything you do. I truly wouldn’t be here without you. And thank you to all of our students for being part of this community and making LUY what it is.
