When Covid began in 2020, I thought a lot about the isolation that was imposed in quarantine.
I lived on the 7th floor of an 11-story building in Portland, Oregon. I had 12 units on my floor, and roughly 100 units in my building. There were two large elevators that would easily hold 10 people at a time.
For at least a year, we traveled solo in the elevators. We lived behind our closed doors. We crossed the street to remain separate and safe.
I started an online Community, meeting weekly to talk about how we were feeling, and to do inner work to source connection and unity. I called the group: Community, Immunity, I Am Unity.
Here we are today, 5 years later, in different places of division, separation and isolation. There was a violent shooting of an influencer who follows a politically conservative agenda, including issues that are divisively debated between political factions. There was another shooting at a school in Colorado. The internet lights up with points of view, videos of the events, theories and opinions about who, what, when and where.
Unity is important to me. Peace is important to me.
What are your unifying beliefs? How do you hold the both and of what's being created in the outer world and what you hold sacred in your inner world?
