The Chelan Cancer Support Group meets on the First Thursday of each month.
Next Meeting: Thursday March 5, 2026
TIME: 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
LOCATION: Lake Chelan Health Hospital Bragg Room, located near the cafeteria. 110 S. Apple Blossom Drive Chelan, WA 98816.
Participants are welcome to purchase lunch from the hospital’s cafe.

In recognition of American Heart Month, Lake Chelan Health (LCH) Cardiac Rehab team members Occupational Therapist Sydney Brownlee and Physical Therapist Alex Vanderholm presented at the Lake Chelan Health and Wellness Foundation Heart Health Luncheon on LCH’s Cardiac Rehab program for patients recovering from cardiac events or procedures, including post-myocardial infarction and post-cardiac surgery or interventions.

LCH Chief Operations Officer Shawn Ottley highlighted the significant strides LCH is making to expand services and providers in the Lake Chelan Valley, including the addition of cardiology services later this month. At the luncheon, he introduced Dr. Gautam Nayak, a cardiologist who has practiced in Central Washington since 2009. He spent 16 years at Confluence Health in Wenatchee, where he also helped grow cardiology programs in Okanogan County. Dr. Nayak is passionate about healthcare innovation and improving cardiovascular care in rural communities through collaboration. LCH is excited to welcome Dr. Nayak to Chelan and expand access to cardiology services locally.
