Every piece is handmade using an 8-step process, meaning no two ornaments are identical.
Ornaments are 24k gold-plated copper, making them highly durable and essentially shatterproof.

The History of Cloisonne'
Cloisonne', which means "to compartmentalize," is an ancient art form introduced to China by western travelers in the 14th century.
The process includes:
Highly-trained artisans bend wire strips by hand to create the patterns that make up the design, which is then soldered onto a copper form.
The design is inlaid with enamels to achieve the desired colors and fired at very high temperatures.
The ornaments are then cooled, polished, and plated in 24k gold.
