Tight isn’t always right.
We often talk about strengthening the pelvic floor — but for many, the first step is actually learning to let it go.

If you’re dealing with:
🔸 bladder leaks
🔸 pelvic pain
🔸 painful intimacy
🔸 constipation or urgency

…it could be a sign of an overactive pelvic floor. What your body may need is not more Kegels, but more relaxation and release.

Swipe through for gentle, stretch-based techniques to help your pelvic floor relax, reset, and rebalance.

✨ Breathe into it. Trust your body. Healing starts here.

➡️ Share this post with someone who might need to hear this. You never know who’s silently struggling.

💧You water everyone else — your kids, your partner, your work, your home. But what about you?

You deserve to bloom too.

In the world of motherhood and womanhood, self-care often feels like a luxury. We’re constantly pouring out — physically, emotionally, hormonally — and forgetting that our own well-being is the foundation for everything we give.

As a pelvic health specialist working with pregnancy, postpartum, and peri-to-postmenopausal women, I see the toll this imbalance takes every day:

🔹 Leaking that feels “normal” but isn’t.
🔹 Pain that’s dismissed as “just part of aging.”
🔹 Exhaustion that runs deeper than sleep.
🔹 Bodies that feel unfamiliar or out of sync.

Here’s the truth:

You can’t thrive — hormonally, emotionally, or physically — without tending to your own garden. Hydrate. Rest. Move. Breathe. Heal.

Your bloom starts with the small, consistent choices to water yourself.

✨ Take five minutes today just for you. Stretch. Sit in silence. Reconnect with your breath.

Ask for help. It’s not selfish. It’s vital.

🫶🏽 Your body has carried, nurtured, and evolved through so much. Now it’s your turn to be nurtured.

💬 Comment below: What’s one small way you’ll water yourself today?

Birth is powerful. So is recovery.✨

Here are a few gentle ways to start reconnecting with your pelvic floor in those early days postpartum 👇

💡 Initial Tips (Weeks 1–4, with clearance):
• Rest is rehab. Healing happens with rest—allow your body to recover.

• Breathe deeply. Diaphragmatic breathing helps re-engage the core and pelvic floor.

• Reconnect, don’t rush. Recovery isn’t about jumping into workouts—it’s about building a foundation.

🧘‍♀️ Try These Gentle Exercises:
1. 360 Breathing
Inhale into your ribcage and belly, exhale gently, feeling your pelvic floor naturally lift.

2. Pelvic Floor Awareness (without clenching!)
Visualize your pelvic floor gently lifting on exhale, relaxing on inhale. No force—just connection.

3. Heel Slides
Lying on your back, slide one heel out slowly, keeping your core gently engaged.

4. Glute Bridges
Great for hip strength—squeeze your glutes and gently lift your hips without overusing your back.

5. Ankle Pumps
Keep circulation flowing, especially early postpartum.

🌸 Healing takes time, but you don’t have to do it alone.

📩 DM us or check out our 💻 Virtual coaching program if you want personalized pelvic floor recovery support!

🔖 Save this for later & share with a new mama who needs this reminder.

Think Kegels are for everyone? Think again! 🤔

Let’s dive into why they might not be the best fit for every body.

Kegels are often touted as a go-to exercise for pelvic floor health, but they’re not always the answer!

For some people, overusing or incorrectly doing Kegels can actually worsen symptoms, especially if the pelvic floor muscles are already overactive or tight.

✨ Instead, focus on breathwork, relaxation techniques, and gentle stretches to help release tension in the pelvic floor. Remember, what works for one person may not work for another!

This post is for educational purposes only and not a substitute for medical advice.

If you’re dealing with pelvic floor concerns, reach out to your healthcare provider or a pelvic floor physical therapist to find a personalized solution that’s right for you.
