Yin and Yoga Nidra Chakra Series
Monday Night 7:00pm - 8:30pm

Join Anita in a curated Chakra Series. Yin Yoga targets the connective tissues and involves a series of passive floor poses that are held for 3-5 minutes. Chakras or energy centers correspond to specific areas in the body and when in balance promote health and wellbeing.
This series will be broken down into targeting each energy center in the body and will work to open and promote flexibility of ligaments. It will end with Yoga Nidra, a guided meditation which will encourage a deeper exploration of body, senses and mind allowing for a nervous system reset and deep relaxation.
In this class we will be bringing awareness to the fourth energy center or the Heart Chakra which is noted to be the bridge between upper and lower chakras.
A balance in this chakra will bring about:
Feeling of unconditional love and respect for yourself and others.
Healthy, fulfilling relationships.
Ability to remain calm and grounded even in challenging situations.
This class is the fourth part of a curated Chakra series. The class begins with a series of yin postures that targets connective tissues and allow for a deeper opening. It is followed by Yoga Nidra or yogic sleep, which encourages a deeper exploration of body, senses and mind allowing for a nervous system reset and deep relaxation.
