Meet Dr. Timothy Carter! Originally from Western New York, Dr. Carter graduated summa cm laude with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Pharmaceutics from the State University of New York at Buffalo. He was conferred his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree as valedictorian and president of the SUNY at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine’s class of 1986. At commencement, he received the American Association of Endodontists Award, presented in recognition of ability in the field of Endodontics. He also received the American College of Dentists Award for clinical skills demonstrated in the art and science of dentistry, in addition to the Dental Alumni Award presented to a graduating student based on proficiencies including academic standing, clinical achievement, personality and participation in university and community affairs.
Dr. Carter relocated to the Boston area to pursue postdoctoral studies at the Boston University School of Graduate Dentistry and was conferred his Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies in 1988. He then volunteered his services for ten years as a clinical instructor in the Boston University Postgraduate Endodontic Clinic and has thoroughly enjoyed private practice here in the Merrimack Valley. He maintains memberships in the American Association of Endodontists, the Massachusetts Association of Endodontists, the American Dental Association, and the Massachusetts Dental Society.
Outside of the office, Tim enjoys his time with family and friends, and can often be found running on the local streets and trails. With multiple marathons and over a dozen half marathons under his belt, he reflects, “For me, a distance run alone with my thoughts is a pleasant supplement to a gratifying day at the office.”
