Runner’s hip (aka lateral hip pain) is one of the most common issues we see ramping mileage for the Boston Marathon and is usually a combination of repetitive stress and inflammation of the IT band and bursa.🏃♂️💥
In this session we are addressing:
• Joint & soft-tissue restrictions
• Load tolerance through the hip
• Running-specific mechanics
Not shown—but just as important:
✔️ Targeted cupping therapy to improve tissue mobility & circulation
✔️ Rehab exercises to restore strength, stability, and control
Pain relief is step one.
Keeping runners healthy through 26.2 miles is the goal.
