Week two class photos. We had a great time exploring. They played in the pond where they found some fossils. We went for a walk and saw the sheep, and then the kids raced through the field. They caught a grasshopper. After snack time they found some slugs. Then we dug in our little garden, they each planted some bean seeds, and we collected water from the steam so they could give their seeds a drink. The day ended with working on our walking sticks and a rambunctious game of tag.

First day of our summer semester was a lot of fun! We explored the dried marsh, pond, woods, and creek. We made creatures out of nature items we collected and talked about their attributes, eating habits, and special powers. It’s a great group of kids and we’re excited to have more adventures with them!
