I think we are approved by Medicare.
Waiting for Blue Cross Blue Shield MA and Harvard Pilgrims’s response.
Trying to organize our applications to other insurance groups.

Should you get a COVID Vaccine?

The question is complicated but if you've already been vaccinated my decision would be based on whether you are at personal risk and whether you are trying to protect someone in your life.

If you are under the age of 60 and without lung, heart, diabetes or cancer, you are not considered high risk. See the CDC website for more underlying conditions that could put someone at increased risk (https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/hcp/clinical-care/underlyingconditions.html). In these cases you could elect to take the vaccine or not.

You can always get reboosted and help the community. You can wear a mask whenever you are having cold and flu like symptoms. These actions will go a long way.

Otherwise I would recommend the booster especially if you are 60+, traveling, or concerned about family.

As an update, we have submitted applications to Blue Cross Blue Shield of MA, Tuft Health Plan, Harvard Pilgrim Health Care, Cigna, MBG, and United. We are working through Medicare and Medicaid applications. We will update this page with any approvals.

COVID with an increase this summer time:
Per the waste water data, there has been a recent increase in COVID detected in waste water. See the graphs on the Massachusetts website.

If you or a family member has a fever, sore throat and/or red eyes, it could be COVID.

Rapid antigen tests are available at pharmacies and are often covered by your insurance if they are prescribed. You can ask your pharmacist to reach out to your primary care doctor.

If you are at risk for serious disease it is important to reach out to your doctor if you have a positive test so that you can be treated as early as possible with antiviral medications.

If you are having trouble reaching them, you can book an appointment with us. We offer televisits as well. Check our about page for booking info.

Alternatively, for online bookings, an appointment confirmation will be promptly sent to you. Subsequent to scheduling your visit, we will forward the necessary forms to be completed and signed via text message or email for your convenience.

We order labs for you to complete at Quest Labs.
Evaluations are $100. This includes the consult and prescriptions if needed. Lab fees are separate.
We do not have labs or X-ray on site.
