Current obsession: the “Green Plate Club” seasoning blend I got from https://plantmatters.org/ while I was at the Great Lakes Herb Faire. It’s one of those blends that is more than the sum of its parts. Delish!

Wowwww! I had such an amazing time at Faire this year! It was my first time vending (I’m the bodyworker doing Somatics sessions - Fenhaven Wellness ) and I wanted to thank everyone I met for connecting, exploring, and supporting me at the Faire. I literally couldn’t have served you all without your kind words, positive feedback, and the bodywork I received from you.

I was wondering - with all the bodyworkers attending Faire, would y’all have any interest in class on this type of bodywork next year? It actually aligns well with the western herbalism framework of hot/cold tense/lax wet/dry.

Holy cannoli…first two days at the Great Lakes Herb Faire and I’ve seen *20* Somatics clients! And also received two lovely massages from other bodyworkers attending the Faire.💆

So geeked! My plum tree set fruit this year! Just six of them, but they are really delicious. This variety is Purple Heart.

Finally took care of that collapsing retaining wall and cleared the decks for a new woodland medicinal garden! You can see the schisandra trellis on the far left edge, where it will also shade the tea house from summer morning sun.

I’ve seen plenty of slugs in my garden, but never a snail with a shell. After tonight’s torrential rain, though, I saw scads of these! Apparently they start off male and turn female later in life. Hello, Amber snail! 🏳️‍⚧️
