September is National Recovery Month! 💜 It's a time to shine a light on the incredible strength shown by individuals who are embracing recovery and to stress the importance of accessible treatment and ongoing support.

Every day, we witness real stories of resilience in our communities. Whether you're on your own recovery journey, supporting someone dear to you, or working in the field, let’s honor the progress made and break the stigma surrounding addiction.

Let’s come together to spread hope and show everyone that recovery is not just possible, but worth celebrating! 🌟

💜 At HCRC Chicopee, we came together in unity and remembrance for International Overdose Awareness Day.

Our staff showed their support by wearing matching awareness shirts and sharing coffee, breakfast bars, Narcan, and meaningful resources with patients. ☕🎗️

These small gestures are part of a much larger mission—to reduce stigma, raise awareness, and support healing in our community. Today and every day, we honor lives lost and stand beside those still on their journey.

On August 31, this global campaign honors the lives lost to overdose while promoting solutions through community action, stigma reduction, and expanded treatment access.

💜 At HCRC Portland, we’re proud to stand in solidarity with our community on International Overdose Awareness Day.

To honor the day, we shared purple pins, awareness flags, coffee, and snacks with our patients and staff — a small gesture to remind everyone that every life matters and every voice deserves to be heard.

Together, we can break the silence, reduce stigma, and support those impacted by overdose. 💜

The HCRC Chelsea team was proud to be part of this year’s National Night Out, hosted by the Chelsea Police Department! 💙

We had a great time connecting with community members, sharing information about our services, and engaging with other incredible local organizations.

Events like these remind us how powerful community connection can be.

Thank you, Chelsea PD, for organizing such a meaningful evening of unity and outreach! 🙌

Wellness is more than a buzzword—it’s a daily commitment to taking care of yourself, inside and out.

During National Wellness Month, we’re focusing on small habits that support healing, reduce stress, and create structure, especially for those navigating recovery.

Each habit you see in this post plays a role in your long-term well-being:

✨ Starting your day with intention creates focus and clarity.
🥗 Nourishing your body supports energy, stability, and mental health.
🚶 Moving with purpose helps release stress and boost mood.
💬 Checking in with your emotions keeps you grounded and self-aware.
📅 Sticking to a routine brings structure and reduces overwhelm.
🌟 Celebrating progress reminds you how far you’ve come—even on hard days.

Wellness isn’t about perfection—it’s about showing up for yourself every day. 💛

August is National Wellness Month!

This month is all about prioritizing you. Your recovery, your routine, and your overall well-being.

Wellness isn’t just physical. In recovery, it also means:

🧠 Caring for your mental health
🧑‍🤝‍🧑 Building supportive relationships
🧘 Practicing mindfulness and self-compassion
📅 Creating routines that bring stability and peace

Whether you're deep into your recovery journey or just starting out, taking small steps every day to care for your mind and body makes a big impact.

Let this month be your reminder: healing isn’t just possible—it’s worth investing in.

💙 Celebrating International Self-Care Day! 💙

We celebrated International Self-Care Day by encouraging our patients to take a little time for themselves.

We set up a special table with self-care treats like candy, nail files, bath bombs, chap stick, hand lotion, stress balls, and stickers—a small reminder that caring for yourself is a big part of the recovery journey.

Here’s to making time for the little things that keep us grounded, balanced, and well. 🌿
