An independent funeral home in Chelsea, MI, our mission is to meet your needs whatever they may be. We provide a wide range of services, from sitting down with you to discuss future needs to grief counseling after the death of a loved one. Our funeral home was founded in 1898, and was purchased by Donald Cole in 1977. His son, Allen, bought the funeral home from his father in 1999, continuing the tradition of service to the Chelsea area. We know that making funeral arrangements can be difficult, so let us help you every step of the way. We have a professional staff equipped with many resources that can provide assistance 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Charity Frank, of Spring Hill, TN, formerly of Saline, age 61, died October 13, 2025. She was the daughter of Roy & Bertha (Kruger) Clemons Jr. Charity attended Brighton Assembly of God for many years before attending Full Life Assembly of God in Franklin, TN. Charity was active with the Prime Timers, and supported Well Outreach Pantry in Spring Hill, Tennessee. She also volunteered at the San Diego Rescue Mission of San Diego, California and Meals on Wheels in Ypsilanti, Michigan. She is survived by her husband Keith; her son, Chad (Regan) of TN; her granddaughters, Sage Olivia and Violet Grace Franks. JoAnn Palmer of Grass Lake, age 83, passed away October 14, 2025 at her home. She was the daughter of Joseph Edward and Edith Jane (Forbes) O'Malley. JoAnn worked as an Assembler for General Motors before retiring after 30 years. She and Syd moved to Arizona for 3½ years before coming back to Michigan. They would return to Arizona for the winters until 2019. She was a member of the Napoleon United Methodist Church. Jo Ann enjoyed bowling and quilting with her sister. JoAnn married Sydney “Syd” Palmer and he survives. JoAnn is survived by a son, William Westenbarger of Garden City; a daughter, Martha (JB) Bellew of Mandeville, Louisiana; five grandchildren: Joshua, Lisa, Sharon, Christine, and Jonathan.
