Congratulations to Charley, a resident of Cohen Florence Levine Estates Assisted Living, for winning the Resident Spirit Award at the Massachusetts Assisted Living Association (Mass-ALA) Awards Dinner!

Charley is truly the heart of our community—always lending a hand with activities, lifting spirits with his humor and kindness, and spreading joy to everyone he meets. Watching him accept the award and receive a standing ovation was nothing short of inspiring.

Now living what he calls “the best part of his life,” Charley reminds us all what it means to live with purpose and positivity. As he wisely says:
“Take care of yourself. The rest is good genes and good luck.”

We couldn’t be prouder. Let’s keep the spirit alive—Charley-style—every single day!

The iconic Nubble Lighthouse—officially Cape Neddick Light—stands brilliantly perched on a rocky islet off Sohier Park in York. Built in 1879 and automated in 1987, it remains one of the most photographed lighthouses in New England.

Residents from The Estates on Admiral’s Hill took in the stunning views before warming up with lunch at The Weathervane. This beloved seafood spot serves up clam chowder, lobster rolls, haddock sandwiches, and more.

To top off the perfect day, we stopped at Hodgies Ice Cream in Amesbury for a scoop. The creamy, classic flavors were the perfect ending!

The residents at The Estates on Admiral’s Hill look forward to welcoming Camp Yavneh every year—and this year was no exception!

Around 70 campers brought joy and smiles as they performed for our community and spent time engaging with residents. The intergenerational connection was truly heartwarming, and we’re so grateful for this meaningful tradition.

Thank you, Camp Yavneh, for sharing your energy and kindness with us!

Residents at The Estates on Admiral’s Hill had an absolute blast keeping the beat to classics like “Eye of the Tiger,” “We Will Rock You,” and “Beat It.” With every rhythm and tap, the room came alive with energy, laughter, and a whole lot of fun.

Who knew a few buckets and drumsticks could bring so much joy?

A day full of excitement, tradition, and Southern charm!

Residents donned their finest fascinators and hats to cheer on our staff jockeys during six thrilling dice-roll races featuring horses like Girl on Fire, Justify, Zenyatta, and Pop Smoke. Monarch stole the show with two big wins!

From friendly bets and fun prizes to Mint Juleps and cinnamon pecan rolls, this Southern-inspired celebration was a hit with everyone!

A little fog couldn’t dampen our day! Earlier this week residents of The Estates on Admiral’s Hill enjoyed a delicious lunch from The Cheesecake Factory before heading out on a 70-minute Charles River Boat Cruise. As we glided along the river, the crew shared fascinating stories about the historic and cultural landmarks of Boston and Cambridge. Great food, great company, and great views—even in the fog!

Our Legacy Lifecare VNA Outdoor Horticulture Club had a wonderful planting event in the Traditional Garden at Kaplan Estates yesterday! Residents, staff, and even some family members rolled up their sleeves and got their hands dirty—creating something beautiful together.

Special thanks to Jennifer Ferringo from LLVNA and Laurie Faria from Kaplan Estates for leading the way. While we weren’t able to photograph everyone, we’re so grateful for all who joined in the fun. We hope you enjoy these photos as much as we enjoyed the day!
