🌟 Provider Spotlight 🌟

Say hello to Dr. David Hardy! 🩵👨‍⚕️

Dr. Hardy has been a pediatrician for 15 years, helping kids grow up healthy and strong. He’s an Auburn University grad 🐅 and went on to attend medical school at UAB.

When he’s not in the office, you’ll find him enjoying family time ❤️, playing a round of golf ⛳, or digging into his favorite food—Mexican 🌮. And his favorite Disney character? The hilarious Donald Duck 🦆!

We’re lucky to have Dr. Hardy bringing excellent care to our patients every day!

Sylacauga Pediatrics and Summit Pediatrics are proud to honor the memory of Dr. Robert Gray- this Wednesday, August 13th at 4 pm at B.B. Comer Memorial Library.

Dr. Gray was the epitome of what it means to be a physician- intelligent, compassionate, and empathetic. Patients would travel from near and far to see him, and he welcomed everyone with his usual wit and charm. He provided the greatest medical care while treating everyone as if they were his family. He was a shining light in Sylacauga, and we will do our best to carry his legacy forward.

Please join us as we unveil his memorial bench donated to the library and city by Sylacauga Pediatrics that will let his memory live on for generations to come. Dr. Rekha and others will speak about Dr. Gray’s wonderful legacy and his impact on everyone he came into contact with.

There will be refreshments provided by CVMC, and we invite everyone in the community to join us.

This week we’re featuring our fearless leader…
🎉 Dr. Rekha Chadalawada! 🎉 (aka “Dr. Rekha”) 💪🏽👩🏽‍⚕️

👩🏽‍⚕️🎓 Dr. Rekha is a Board-Certified Pediatrician who graduated from Randanaya Medical College of India 🏥🌏 and completed her pediatric residency in New York 🗽🍎.

She then made her way to Sylacauga, Alabama 🐘🌿 where she has been caring for children for 25 years! 🥰👶🏽👧🏾👦🏼
Dr. Rekha has since expanded her care to families in Chelsea 🏡 and Birmingham 🏙️.

🏆✨ Recently, she was honored with the Master Pediatrician Award from the American Academy of Pediatrics (Alabama Chapter) & Children’s of Alabama! 🎖️🎉

👩🏽‍🏫✏️ Fun fact: Dr. Rekha is also the President of the Sylacauga City School Board!

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦💕 Outside of the office, Dr. Rekha loves spending time with her family — she’s married with two grown children.
Her hobbies include 🏋🏽‍♀️ working out, 🛍️ shopping, and 🌍✈️ traveling!

Every day, Dr. Rekha comes to work with a smile 😊 because she truly LOVES being a pediatrician and seeing her patients grow up 🧸💉💕
