Happy Fact Friday!

Answer: A) Eccentric Circles

Eccentric Circles are a vision therapy activity made up of circular patterns with off-center designs that challenge how the eyes work together. Patients use them to practice eye alignment, focusing, and eye teaming by keeping the images clear and centered. This activity helps improve visual stability, control, and teamwork between the eyes.

Happy Fact Friday!

Answer: B) Marsden Ball

The Marsden ball is a vision therapy tool consisting of a ball suspended from a string, often marked with letters or symbols. It is used to develop eye tracking, focusing, and hand–eye coordination by having patients follow, read, or tap the moving ball. This helps improve visual attention, eye teaming, and coordination in dynamic, real-world tasks like driving. Our athletes love this one!

Happy Fact Friday!

Answer: D) Aperture Rule

In vision therapy, an aperture is a small, precisely placed opening used to isolate and direct a patient’s line of sight. By limiting peripheral visual input, it helps improve accuracy in eye teaming, fixation, and tracking, allowing patients to focus on using their visual system, more efficiently without distraction.
