Happy Fact Friday!

Bilateral Integration is important for:

1) Motor coordination and balance.
2) Crossing the midline (e.g., reaching across the body).
3) Daily activities like walking, writing, dressing, cutting with scissors, riding a bike and sports.

Crawling is no longer considered as a developmental milestone, but it’s still an important skill that is involved in integrating primitive reflexes, developing bilateral coordination, visual skills, and more.

Little League season is full of big moments - some you see, and some you don’t.

Clear vision and healthy eyes play an important role in how kids track the ball, react quickly, and stay focused.

A comprehensive eye exam with a doctor of optometry helps ensure their vision and eye health are keeping up with their growing skills, both on the field and beyond.
