Big news in the fight against metastatic breast cancer (MBC): Fox Chase Cancer Center is partnering with Penn Medicine's Abramson Cancer Center and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK) to launch the new MBCure Research Consortium, powered by the nonprofit MBCure.

This first-of-its-kind collaboration is dedicated to finding curative treatments for MBC through bold, high-risk research. Our own Dr. Melissa McShane will serve as the Fox Chase liaison, ensuring every dollar supports the most promising breakthroughs.

MBC accounts for nearly all breast cancer-related deaths but receives less than 10% of research funding. This effort aims to change that—and bring new hope to patients and families: https://bit.ly/46d7Xux

Join us on Wednesday, July 16 from 4-5pm for the virtual Fox Chase Cancer Center Neuroendocrine Tumor Support Group that welcomes people diagnosed with neuroendocrine tumors who are receiving treatment.

Led by Fox Chase social workers, the group provides a forum for participants to share their personal experiences, ways of coping, and helpful resources. Interested patients should email Anjali Albanese, MSW, LSW, or Mark Itzen, MSW, LCSW, for a link to participate.
