Your Healthcare BFF & PACE

Your Healthcare BFF & PACE I'm Tiffany, Your Healthcare BFF! I'm a caregiver & patient advocate. I work with healthcare systems & employers to support caregiver employees! WHAT IS P4?

I transform caregiver strain into organizational strength through empowering their family caregivers. My Gram’s healthcare and my Mom's caregiving situation is the inspiration for PACE - Patient Advocacy At PACE, women affected by chronic illness are transformed into a Powerful Patient Partner that confidently manages the care for yourself and your loved ones. Women will feel valued and empowered in your care & treatment. I'm Tiffany Matthews, founder & CEO of PACE. I am a board certified patient advocate, consultant and educator. I'm also a former social worker & healthcare insider. I am a patient and a parent of a child with chronic illness. P4 teaches women to be in charge of their own care through increased health literacy, patient advocacy methods and learning to advocate for themselves and their loved ones in the system. PACE is a patient advocacy firm in the Greater Philadelphia region and serves clients virtually throughout the United States. Patient advocacy is the practice of championing the cause for a patient's wants and needs during their healthcare journey. The patient is first. Our broken system gives rise to the need of the patient advocate. Patients can confidently manage their healthcare if they learn the skills and the mindset & behavior changes they need to know. You can get that here at PACE. Healthcare is a business - we are customers. P4 empowers women with the skills that can change, even save, their lives. PACE'S Powerful Patient Partner Program™ includes:
• Advance directives/healthcare proxies
• Advocating for the best treatment
• Caregiving & Advocacy
• Care coordination
• Communicating with healthcare providers
• Managing hospital stays
• Making the most of appointments
• Handling a difficult diagnosis
• Geriatrics/Eldercare
• Resources - Finding help & services
• Navigating a healthcare crisis

• Healthcare navigation
• Building Confidence & A New Mindset
• Creating a Healthcare Vision
• Building & Maintaining a Healthcare Team

My family had been pressured for quick decisions about her life-or-death to keep with the "profits over patients” principle our healthcare system embraces. My family was bombarded with information and pressured to make serious life-or-death decisions quickly - when what we wanted to do focus on Gram. High-pressure decisions, overwhelm with information - that is the business of healthcare. Sadly, we have a payer system that supports "profits before patients." PACE has products & services for businesses/50+ communities/groups:
• Advocacy Services
• Caregiver Support
• Care Planning
• Coaching (Small Groups)
• TeleMedicine
• Consulting w/ businesses, a value-add for benefits or a health & wellness campaign
• Powerful Patient Partner Program (P4)™ – PACE’s signature educational program
• Speaking engagements
• Writing Services

CAREGIVERS: TELL YOUR HR/PEOPLE OPS LEADERS: 2026 is a great time to take a good, long look at your workforce.

People are evolving and so are their needs.

They will need strategies to help them with needs beyond health insurance and 401Ks.

Employers need strategies to support culture, regulatory compliance, and the ever-changing needs of their people. It's not easy at all.

Single parents and solo elders are commonplace now. There are unique challenges they have as opposed to others. Many of your people do.

Do your benefits, EAPs and other offerings address the needs of your people?

You all have enough on your plates. I want to take some things off of it with a strategy for family caregivers who work for you.

Discover. Quantify. Support. Recover. 2026.

HOW IS YOUR JOB SUPPORTING YOU? THERE ARE COMPANIES THAT FOCUS ON CAREGIVERS!

What Medicaid 'big beautiful bill' changes mean for family caregivers

New Medicaid changes in the One Big Beautiful Bill Act will require community engagement from beneficiaries ages 19 to 64. But family caregivers are exempt.

CAREGIVERS, I'M TRYING TO GET YOUR EMPLOYERS TO LISTEN! I want to help you on a long-term basis at work.

I am challenging employers and organizations to provide help to their caregivers at work in 2026.

Family caregiving is a workforce, financial, personal, public health and healthcare crisis.

Caregiving affects us ALL. Don't care what you look like, where you're from, who you worship or who you love.

73% of employees report caregiving responsibilities at home.

I hope all employers budgeted for caregivers in 2026, becase every company spends on the crisis of caregiving and the resulting stress and burnout.

That burnout leads to leaving careers, increased physical, emotional and mental health issues and so much more.

How to begin supporting them:

1. Create a culture of belonging and acceptance
2. Check your benefits. Are you offering benefits flexible enough to meet the needs of caregivers and others?
3. Discover who your caregivers are, quantify their impact, and support them so you can recover money lost on caregiving.
4. Just contact me...that's the easiest. 😊
Happy Holidays 😊

Caregiving is hard. Full stop.

Millions of people are caregiving with absolutely no help.

No family, no friends, no agencies. No help.

And they work. 73% of employees report caregiving responsibilities at home.

The effects of caregiving come to work with them.

Exhaustion. Hurt. Grief. Mind scattered. Physical work. Lack of focus.

How does that affect attendance and productivity 🤔 at your office? How about your work? Do you know? 😲

Every company is affected, large or small.

What is your employer going to do about it? How are they going to help you?

This is how your employers are affected. This is why they need to support you with benefits you need like flex time, remote work, elder care, employee resource & support groups and more.

In order to get money back that is naturally lost on family caregiving, they have to support their caregivers.

TELL HR OR PEOPLE OPS AT WORK THAT CAREGIVERS DESERVE BENEFITS!

They hold up the healthcare system, the long-term care system and our ECONOMY. If they all quit, we'd be screwed.

Literally. They need support at work and home 🏡

CAREGIVERS!

You must love and care for yourself if you are a caregiver. A self-care routine is a MUST.

If you don't care for yourself, resentment can build up and affect not only your caregiving, but your entire life.
