SUBTLE MEASUREMENTS
A mother walking with her child:
“Can’t you hurry up? I’m going to be late.”
Sounds harmless, right?
But over time, messages like that can turn into something else:
“I’m not fast enough.”
“I should be faster.”
“It’s my fault Mom is late.”
And eventually:
“I don’t do things well enough.”
Along with feelings of:
• Doubt
• Guilt
• Shame
What started as a simple comment
becomes a pattern of self-judgment.
But this process can be changed.
I can help.
