We’re thrilled to share that Consuelo (“Connie”) Torgrimson has joined the Board of Directors of PIRS.

Connie brings 22 years of service at the Oregon Department of Human Services (DHS), where she currently serves as a Family Coach supporting Oregon families. A proud Madras alum (Madras Middle and High School), Connie is deeply rooted in our community.

She has three years of ministry training, celebrates 21 years in recovery, and draws strength and perspective from her Mexican and Apache heritage.

She’s also a mom to five sons and three daughters and a delighted grandmother of 24.
Connie’s blend of professional expertise, lived experience, and community commitment will help guide PIRS as we expand youth peer support services, peer support services and reentry services in Jefferson County.

🌟 We are thrilled to welcome Tony Mitchell to the PIRS Board of Directors!

Tony has dedicated his career to supporting people and strengthening communities. Many know him from his leadership at the Jefferson County Faith Based Network, where he worked with partners to expand services and helped bring to life the year-round shelter in Madras.

With decades of experience in nonprofit leadership, coaching, and ministry, Tony brings both wisdom and heart to our mission of prevention, intervention, and recovery.

We are so grateful he said yes to joining our board. 💙
Please join us in giving Tony a warm welcome to the PIRS family!
