May is Mental Health Awareness Month 💚

A reminder that taking care of your mind is just as important as taking care of your body. Life can get heavy, and not everything we carry is visible but that doesn’t make it any less real.

Be patient with yourself. Rest when you need to. Reach out when things feel overwhelming. And remember, it’s okay to not have everything figured out.

Let’s keep showing up for ourselves and for each other with kindness, compassion, and honesty.

Our summer work experience job fair is on the calendar. Friday, May 15, 2026 from 10 am - 6 pm.

WSCAT/Wyam Youth Center will be conducting on site job interviews for our summer positions.

We have partnered with CTWS HR, CTWS BNR and WIOA who will also have work experience opportunities for youth ages 14-24. (This is a non-school day)

We welcome other employers, program, education or service providers that have summer internships or other opportunities for youth to join us at the job fair.
