Last night was our 3rd annual employee Christmas party and what a blessing it is to even be able to say that ❤️ 3 years with these amazing humans doing extraordinary things. 3 years of becoming best friends and family. 3 years of watching you all grow as clinicians, advocates, wives, mothers, transform from students to leaders, from new grads to the best providers in RI, and so much more.

What we have here is so rare. We’ve all been in enough other spaces to know we’ve truly caught lightning in a bottle by having each other. Thank you all for dreaming big with me, for doing hard things so we can do great things, and for dancing through life with me. Love you all SO MUCH 🎄

We had the best time ever this weekend in Smithfield’s All Lit Up Parade! We partnered up with Benedetti Home Solutions LLC who made all of our parade dreams come true ❤️💚 Mike we are SO thankful for you!!

So proud of baby Capri for being the happiest girl with her mommy Ms Gianna on our float the entire time and Charlie & Grayson spreading all the Christmas cheer to everyone we passed. Jeff, Elke, & August were the best helpers keeping everyone safe while we drove around! & always a BIG thank you always to Dr Ashley’s dad for bringing all her crazy ideas to life. 🫶

We had the best time and already can’t wait for next year! Merry Christmas everyone 🎄☃️

Happy Veterans Day to the selfless heroes who have served to protect our country. It is because of your sacrifice that we have the freedom & safety to do what we do. ❤️💙

Our military families are very special to us here at EKT. Earlier this year, many issues were ongoing nationwide with Tricare and while many practices had no choice but to terminate their contracts or stop seeing clients until it resolved - we really tried to find a way to make it work. We never, ever want to turn away a military family. We wouldn’t be here without their sacrifice. It wasn’t easy, but we made it work and we are so happy that we did.

Thanks to the help of one of our incredible EKT mamas, we got in touch with local legislators here in RI and even in Washington. Months later, she delivered this flag to us which was flown over the United States Capitol on 8/21 and 8/28 in recognition of EKT’s commitment to serving military families. This honor meant so much to us. Entirely unexpected, but so so special. 🙏🇺🇸

We had the best time today at Trick or Treat on Main Street hosted by the Glocester Business Association! Chepachet has been so good to us and it was great to be able to give back a tiny bit to the children & families in town. So many great costumes, big smiles, and the kindest sweetest kiddos 🧡🖤

A very special thank you to our staff who took time out of their weekend to come out today and help with our tables. We saw so many EKT families and your kiddos running up so excited to see us is exactly why we do what we do. 🫶 Happy Halloween!! 🎃👻💀

We are hiring a full time COTA to join our team in late December 2025 💗 Our amazing Ms Alyssa will be having her baby boy and we are looking for someone to take on her caseload of extraordinary kiddos, and who will stay with us permanently when she returns as well!

We are obviously a little biased - but EKT is such a special place to work and community to be a part of. If you are a neurodiversity-affirming COTA who is looking for an outpatient pediatrics job where you are respected, empowered, and consistently inspired - please reach out to us. We will be conducting interviews throughout November and will begin training in December.

It’s AAC Awareness Month 💗 What a privilege it is to help our little besties find their voices in every form. Our speech therapists go above and beyond, collaborating with families, teachers, and our interdisciplinary team to ensure every child is heard and understood.

We’re so thankful for our continued collaboration with AbleNet Inc. which helps us secure AAC devices for our clients, and for our incredible parents who are always open to exploring new ways to support their child’s communication journey. 📱🫶

We are so passionate about AAC that last year, we donated a communication board to Smithfield Recreation Department Deerfield Park in Town of Smithfield, RI. Since then, we’ve loved receiving photos and videos from families showing their children using it while playing and connecting with peers. 💬 Love to love all our AAC besties!!! 🌈💕
