Karen wears so many hats behind the scenes — from billing and coding, to HR, to helping keep our clinic and med spa running smoothly every single day. She is truly one of the people who helps hold everything together.

Her hard work, organization, loyalty, and care for both our staff and our patients never go unnoticed. She gets so much done for all of us, often quietly behind the scenes, and we honestly couldn’t do this without her.

Melanoma Monday 🖤

May is Skin Cancer Awareness Month, and today we’re highlighting melanoma—the most serious and potentially deadly form of skin cancer.

Melanoma can develop quickly and spread if not caught early, but the good news is… early detection saves lives.

Here’s what to watch for 👇
• Asymmetry – one half doesn’t match the other
• Border – irregular, scalloped, or poorly defined edges
• Color – multiple colors or uneven tone
• Diameter – larger than a pencil eraser (but can be smaller!)
• Evolving – any change in size, shape, or color

If something looks new, different, or changing—don’t wait. Get it checked.

☀️ Prevention matters just as much as detection:
• Wear SPF every single day (yes… even cloudy days and while driving)
• Seek shade when you can
• Wear hats, sunglasses, and protective clothing

✨ Let’s talk sunscreen (because this is where we can truly make a difference):
We carry medical-grade sunscreens that not only protect your skin, but also support skin health with added antioxidants, tint options, and elegant finishes you’ll actually want to wear daily.

But the biggest mistake we see? Not reapplying.

👉 Sunscreen should be reapplied every 90 minutes when you are in the sun or even in the car. UV rays come through windows and add up over time.
