Today, we were blessed to have Kerisa from the Sanford Museum visit us to present a fascinating program on genealogy and Family Bibles. We learned how family records, handwritten notes, and treasured Bibles can help tell the stories of generations past. We are so fortunate to have such a wonderful museum right here in our community! The wealth of knowledge, history, and resources they preserve is truly a gift to our town. Thank you for sharing your time and expertise with us — we appreciate the meaningful programs you bring right to our door!

We enjoyed a wonderful outing to the Sermons Ala Carte service and lunch! We’re so grateful to have The Gardens’ van so we can stay connected and take part in special community events.

We enjoyed two fun activities this afternoon! Laura and Angie spoiled us with February treats and sweet conversation, then we celebrated Mardi Gras with a lively game of “Steal My Beads.” Great laughs and wonderful company!

We were honored to welcome Cherokee’s new mayor, Tony Puffett, this afternoon for a special Valentine’s Day visit! He brought homemade sugar cookies and all the toppings for tenants to decorate, along with a necklace and Valentine card for each person. Thank you, Mayor Puffett, for your kindness and for making the day extra sweet for our tenants!

We kicked off Valentine’s Day a little early this afternoon with a celebration full of music, smiles, and sweet surprises! Jim Kluver entertained us with wonderful country western favorites, filling the room with toe-tapping tunes and great memories.
All of our lovely ladies received beautiful flowers, and the excitement continued with a drawing for some special prizes.

Our hearts were full this afternoon! ❤️ Ms. Carlson’s first grade Partners in Excellence class visited to play Valentine Bingo with our residents, filling the room with laughter and smiles. Thank you to these wonderful students for bringing so much joy to our community! 💕
