Our residents here at Cherry Hill recently spent a cozy afternoon crafting mulling spice packets and fragrant lavender sachets to give as heartfelt gifts. They loved exploring the many ways the mulling spices could be enjoyed – simmered in wine or apple cider, infused into maple syrup, blended with water for a warm seasonal aroma, or even used as potpourri. Surrounded by comforting scents, the residents delighted in the creative process and the chance to make something special for their loved ones!

Our residents set out on a festive holiday lights tour, winding through neighborhoods aglow with twinkling displays and cheerful seasonal décor. The highlight of the night was a brilliantly decorated house in Voorhees, where animated lights danced in sync with music and larger-than-life ornaments transformed the property into a winter wonderland! It quickly became everyone’s favorite, capturing the joyful spirit of the season and leaving the group glowing with holiday cheer.

Children from St. Mary’s visited The Residence at Cherry Hill, joining residents for a meaningful service project. Together, they created 110 purple bracelets to raise money and awareness for Alzheimer’s Disease. Each bracelet is available for $5 at our front desk. 💜 Heartfelt thanks to everyone who contributed to this special effort!

Our seniors enjoyed a cozy and festive afternoon at St. Mary's Catholic Church's holiday luncheon. We enjoyed a special performance from the Cherry Hill East Choirs. Our residents came together to celebrate a warm and joyful Friendsgiving here at Cherry Hill, enjoying laughter, community, and the spirit of gratitude. A special thanks goes to the incredible Culinary Team for preparing a delicious traditional Thanksgiving meal – especially Cassandra and Tim, whose hard work and care made the celebration truly memorable.
