Make sure you purchase solar eclipse filters and glasses from reputable manufacturers. There have been reports that some companies are selling counterfeit products.

Happy Thanksgiving, from the LVA family to yours. Because we will be closed on Friday as well, we want to leave you with a holiday eye safety tip! Any liquid that splashes in your eye can be uncomfortable, but food liquids can be especially dangerous because they are often acidic or contain bacteria. If this happens during your busy Thanksgiving meal prep, flush your eye with plenty of water and monitor for any changes to your eye or vision. We will be back seeing patients on Monday, November 27th!
