We are so proud of all of our clients, but this story stands out.

After a stroke, one client came to us feeling discouraged and unsure how to communicate with loved ones. When they started speech therapy at Insight, they rated their confidence in communication as just 2 out of 30. Their main goal? To be able to connect with family in everyday conversations—both in person and over the phone.

With just 11 weekly sessions, and with Kelli’s guidance using functional word-finding strategies, this client made incredible progress. By discharge, their score on the Communication Participation Item Bank (CPIB) had improved to 28 out of 30—showing a dramatic reduction in the impact of aphasia on daily life.

👏 From 2/30 to 28/30 in under three months—proof that the right support can make all the difference.
