Brookfield Schools

Brookfield Schools serves students needing intensive behavioral/therapeutic intervention, at three sites in southern New Jersey.

Brookfield Academy serves high school age students and Brookfield Elementary serves kindergarten through eighth grades, as well as serving students K-12 in both in-patient and residential education programs with therapeutic partners through NJ. This page celebrates our students and staff so negativity and misinformation will be removed.

We are very proud of the work put into organizing this PD day and Im proud of Ms.Trish and Ms. MaryLynn for being staff leaders 😊. Ms. Trish is running a station to help BEST teaching staff answer and learn more about the ACE Curriculum as we continue to progress with it; and Ms. MaryLynn is running a station with all other Teachers to model more thorough lesson planning, better use of curriculum, and differentiating for our students
better. Everyone else is doing a Handle with Care refresher with Ms.
Shannan. 😊

For Science, the students at the Haddon Heights campus, learned how to use chemical reactions to create a strong polymer. Using a substance made of glue and cornstarch, they created a bouncy ball using the colors of their choice.

Our Story

The mission of Brookfield Schools is to provide trauma sensitive, informed, and focused educational and therapeutic programming for students with special emotional and behavioral needs that will put them on the pathway to becoming productive contributors in society.

Brookfield Academy serves high school age, Brookfield Elementary serves kindergarten through eighth grades, and Transition to College provides a unique opportunity for high school juniors and seniors. Intensive group and individual counseling, art therapy, cosmetology, horticulture and culinary arts are provided.
